Die-Cutting, Stamping

Altenew Build A Flower Peony Blossom Release + Giveaway

Hello everyone and happy Monday to you! I hope your weekend went well and that your week is off to a lovely start.

Today I have a card to share using the newly released Build A Flower Peony Blossom from Altenew. Altenew have a special release of a Build A Flower Set every month and this month it’s the turn of the peony.

I started by stamping two of the different layers of the blossom- this set works a little differently as the layeres are separate and then can be layered up to create a 3D flower. I stamped two smaller and one large using Pink Pearl and Coral Bliss inks. I Also stamped some leaves using Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades and Evergreen inks. Then cut these images using the coordinating dies.

For the background I blended Pink Pearl and Coral Bliss inks onto my card base and then added a panel cut from white cardstock using Striped Leaf Cover Die.

I then arranged the flowers into place and adhered with foam tape. For the sentiment I heat embossed a sentiment on black cardstock in white using Sketchy Floral Stamp Set. To finish I added enamel dots to the centres of the flowers.

I have a $20 voucher to the Altenew Store to give away! To be in with a chance of winning all you need to do is comment on this post by 15th February 2018. I will announce the winner on my blog shortly after.

Please leave me a comment as I would really love to know what you think of my card!, to leave a comment just click on the post title and the comment box will appear.

Maybe even subscribe to myYouTube channel or follow my blog. If your interested I’m also on Facebook and I share sneak peeks of my projects (and my life) on Instagram.

If you head on over to the Altenew blog they have a giveaway going on over there!
