Winnie & Walter February Release

Hello there everyone and a very happy Thursday to you! I’m very excited you have joined me today as I’m taking part in the new release over at Winnie & Walter.

Today I’m sharing with you a card using the new set Ashlee’s Rosie Poises:

I started by stamping a cluster of the flowers onto a panel of white cardstock. I stamped the outlines first using navy ink and then added in the layers. Once I was happy with my floral arrangement I then cut through it. GASP! I did this as I wanted to add my sentiment through the centre but it was too busy to be seen properly so this helped both the flowers and sentiment to pop.

I added the two pieces of the panel onto my card base and then stamped the sentiment. Most of the sentiment stamped fine but I did need to stamp the ‘beautiful’ again. So I removed the stamped panels from the card base and stamped the sentiment again directly over the already stamped one.

I than added the panels back in, this time adhering with foam tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by today I really do hope you enjoyed your visit!

Please leave me a comment as I would really love to know what you think of my card!, to leave a comment just click on the post title and the comment box will appear.

Love your card Lydia, it’s so original. Stamping the sentiment the way you did looks tricky, but I will give it a go as I like to try something new. Thank you so much for your inspiration. Love your style.
