Hi there and happy Friday. I’m so excited to be here with you today as part of the Altenew new Release. You should have arrived here from the awesome Svitlana, but if not don’t worry there is a hop list at the bottom of my post. Or you could even start at the beginning at the Altenew Card Blog.
Today we are releasing new stamps, dies and a mini die cutting machine! So lots of amazing NEW products to be having fun with! I have had soooo much fun with these new products!!
First let’s take a look at all of the new products:
A whole load of goodies to choose from right?!?! So now on to my projects which also feature a video:
I’ll talk about this on (as it is my favourite and you can see the other two in the video 😉 ). I started by stamping and heat embossing the images from Frosted Garden onto a white panel of cardstock in white embossing powder.
I used grey inks on this one, I first added Industrial Diamond to the flower centres, then blended this out with Silver Stone and then blended this out lightly with Limestone. I just love the ethereal feel this softness gives.
For the sentiment I stamped and white heat embossed it onto vellum. To make this stand out a little more I added a thin strip of grey card behind where the sentiment would be.
For a video on how these cards came together please check out the video below or over on YouTube:
And what’s a blog hop without prizes?!?! To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to SIX lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and Altenew Scrapbook Blog by Friday, December 15th for a chance to win. Six winners will be announced on the Altenew Card Blog and Altenew Scrapbook Blog on Sunday, December 17th.
