Inky Techniques, Stamping

Galaxy Sky With CP Spa Inks

Hello there everyone! I’m so excited to be sharing a project with you using the new Spa Inks with you today!!! So I have to say that this is my favourite (so far) project I have created with the new colours of CP inks.

I started by inking my galaxy background. I used Sauna, Peppermint Scrub, Daydream, Royal Treatment and Juniper Mist. I started with the lightest ink and worked my way up to the darker one, then went over the same patches again this time working from darkest to lightest to get this awesome blending.

Once I was happy with the panel I sprinkled with water ( I love how well the CP inks react with water) and added a few stars using Fabre Castelle Silver Galeto mixed with some water.

When the panel was completely dry I could then add my sentiment and a few images, I used Best In You Stamp Set to first white heat emboss the sentiment and then added roses and leaves from the same set.

Thank you so much for stopping by today I really do hope you enjoyed your visit!

Oh my gosh Lydia this is amazing, it’s so stunning on the blending, I have yet to master the art of blending without ending up with swirly circles on paper. Thank you for sharing this card x

Thank you Andrea. I have to say the CP inks blend beautifully…. and I do think going over twice helps blend colours together 🙂
