Heffy Doodle 2nd Release Blog Hop

Hello there everyone and happy Saturday!

I’m so exited to be part of Heffy Doodle‘s 2nd Release blog hop! My lovely friend Lesley has started her very own stamp company and her designs are just too cute! I have to say my favourite is Beary Big Heart…. the images in this set are just too super cute!

You should have arrived here from the lovely lady behind Heffy Doodle, Lesley. You can also start at the beginning at the Heffy Doodle Blog, all the info about the blog will be there.

So onto my card:

I started by stamping the bear with the heart and the standing up bear from Beary Big Heart with Altenew Permanent Black Ink (this is alcohol and watercolour proof so a great all rounder!). I then coloured the bears and heart using Copic Markers (all of the E70’s for the bears and some bright reds for the heart). Once coloured up I cut these out using the coordinating dies. I then added some glossy accents to the heart and left to dry.

To create the background heart focal point I cut a white panel slightly smaller than my card base and die cut a heart where I wanted the bears to fit. I then took the heart and did a little ink blending on it, and added a few water droplets for interest. While this was drying I stamped a sentiment into place under the die cut heart on the white panel. Then adhered this to the card base with foam tape.

I added the inked heart through the die cut heart before adding the bears. To make the bears look like one image I trimmed around the standing bears face so I could position his face over the heart and his hand behind it. Cute huh????

A random winner will be selected for a $25 gift certificate + free shipping to the Heffy Doodle store. Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PST on 11/7/2017. Winners will be announced on the Heffy Doodle blog.
