Altenew Build-A-Flower Anemone Release

Hi there everyone and happy Tuesday!

Why do I have a treat for you today? Altenew do a special release on the 15th of every month! This special release with comprise of a layered stamp set and coordinating dies, this one is Build-A-Flower Anemone and it is absolutely gorgeous!

I have 3 projects to share using it and one is something I haven’t shared for a while….

I just love that you don’t have to use all of the layers to create a beautiful card. For this all I did was stamp the outlines of the flower and leaves using Altenew Permanent Black (a new favourite!), and then stamped in the layers minus the solid base layer on both the leaves and flower.

I used Bush and Rouge for the flower and Silver Stone for the leaves. For the centre of the flower I used Mango Smoothie.

Once all the stamping was done I cut ‘Thank You’ die from the centre of the image cluster and added a black die-cut of the same die into it’s place.

This next card uses the ‘thank you’ die cut from the first card- no waste here! I stamped the images in the same places as in the first card so the ‘thank you’ die-cut will then continue on the image when placed into position.

I then cut the Thank You Die 4 more times and stacked them one on top of another adding the stamped one on top. When this was finished I then added it into place on the card. This gives a ‘spotlight’ effect which is really subtle and pretty.

So my next project is a layout… I know right?!?! It’s been an age since I shared one here, but I have totally been inspired my the Altenew Scrapbook DT so I thought I would give it a go again…

Here I only used Blush on the second layer of the flowers I just LOVE how this makes the flowers look! I used other stamps (BAF Coral Charm, Golden Garden and Super Script Scrapbook) to fill out my layout too. I just love how you can mix so many different sets together to create a cohesive look.

Thank you so much for stopping by today I really do hope you enjoyed your visit!
