VIDEO: Altenew Build A Flower Ranunculus Release + Big News + Giveaway

Hi there everyone and happy Thursday!

Why do I have a some amazing news for you today? I’m so unbelievably excited (and shocked and nervous) to share my first ever set for Altenew! I know right, me actually designing stamps? So here’s the set in question:

So what do you think? I truly hope that you like it and can think of many ways to use it.

I have created two cards with this set using my favourite colour combo for this flower, Blush, Peach Perfect and Rouge. But before I jump into my cards I thought it would be fun to do a video with a round-up of the set with a card tutorial. You can watch it below or over on my YouTube channel.

Here’s the card I created in the video…

I stamped the flower without the outline using Blush, Peach Perfect and Rouge twice, and the leaves 5 times using Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades. Once all the images were stamped I then cut them out using the coordinating dies.

Before attaching the stamped die-cuts down I added a little background using Limestone ink through Layered Medallion A Stencil . I love the interest this gives but takes nothing away from the focal floral images. I also added the sentiment from the same stamp set before adhering the die-cuts down.

A few clear sequins finish the card.

My next card uses the colour combo but a different technique…

This time I stamped of of the flowers, masked this off then stamped the other underneath. I then masked this one off too before adding the leaves around the flowers.

To finish the card I added a sentiment stamp and white heat embossed onto black cardstock and a few clear sequins.

To celebrate the release of my very first set I’m giving away a $30 voucher for the Altenew Store. Please leave a comment on this post before the 22nd June 11.59 BST to be in with a chance of winning.

Thank you so much for stopping by today I really do hope you enjoyed your visit!
