Catherine Pooler’s Spring Fling Release Blog Hop

Hello there everyone and happy Thursday! Why do I have a treat for you today, I am part of Catherine Pooler’s Spring Fling Release Hop! I have to say I am LOVING these new ink colours! They look like sweetie colours… yum!

Today the new products will be available in the store and I have a few cards to share with you using them, and maybe an older but still goodie set.

I used the new Dotted Circle Dies to create both the mask and sentiment circle, the mask is the mid sized circle and the sentiment circle is the next one down in the set. I cut the mask circle out of a sticky note and popped it into place. I then stamped around the circle to create two flower clusters in the top right and bottom left of the circle. I used Lovely Flowers to stamp the images and a whole load of gorgeous CP inks- Bellini, Garden Party, Lime Rickey, Mint To Be, Melon Ice, Sweet Sixteen, Pixie Dust, It’s A Boy, It’s A Girl and Party Dress. I just love how broght and fresh all of these colours look together!

After I was happy with the floral clusters, and I did stamp quite a lot, I removed the circle mask.

I then stamped a sentiment on the smaller die cut circle using Simply Stated using black ink. Then added it into the centre of the masked circle using foam pads for a little dimension.

I really do love how fresh and flowery this came out!

This next card is a little more simple and classy. I cut 5 of the Spot On Sentiments-Congrats out of white card. I took one and added a little Mint To Be to the bottom with a blending tool. I then stamped on some flowers and leaves using the small images from Simply Stated and It’s A Girl, Melon Ice and Garden Party CP inks.

Once I had finished stamping I layered all of the die cuts together to create a stacked sentiment with the stamped sentiment on top. I then added some Wink Of Stella to it and some Glossy Accents for some sparkle and shine, then left to dry.

Once dry I simply added this to a card blank with a white card layer.
