A little info on The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge-

Kathy from The Daily Marker is the creator of  “The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge”.The Challenge is a great way to gain confidence with your coloring and join in a community of positivity and coloring enthusiasts. The challenge is also a great way to get full use of your stamps and coloring mediums.

(When sharing use #TheDailyMarker30Day so Kathy can find your work)

THE GOAL IS:  To color something daily even if it’s a few minutes but, certainly not required. It’s  been proven that coloring can lower your blood pressure & make you feel happy and relaxed, so it’s worth carving out a little time for yourself each day. You will find that Kathy encourages you along the way to stretch your creativity a little bit more and to feel successful with your coloring.

CAN YOU PARTICIPATE in the 30 DAY CHALLENGE?  Yes! That will be awesome if you want to participate & feel free to jump in at any time during the challenge! Everyone is welcome! If you miss a few days, don’t feel like you have to catch up. The challenge is meant to be fun and with no stress.

QUESTIONS? Read more on Kathy’s blog post here to see how to share your work and if you have questions, how to share, giveaways, etc. Prepare to be inspired with daily posts and many videos for 30 days.

So on to the project I would like to share:

I must admit I’m still in my messy watercolour stage, I don’t seem to have as much time to colour as I used to but this is still colouring, in an outside-of-the-lines kind of way!

I started by stamping my flower arrangement using ‘Beautiful Day’ at the top of a piece of watercolour card. I used masking to get the images to sit behind the images in the foreground.

Once I was happy with the amount of flowers and leaves I added Distress Ink used as a watercolour to the images. To give it a more arty feel I also added some black paint splatters.

The sentiment is from ‘Birch Land’ and was stamped with versamark on black card and heat set with white embossing powder.

During the hop, you will find lots of giveaways along the way. The full list of ALL winners from the individual blogs will be announced on The Daily Marker blog on March 12th.
