Pencil Coloured Bouquet

Hi there everyone and happy Wednesday! I have another guest post designing for Concord & 9th this today using a stamp set from their awesome new release!

This card is over on their blog today and I had such fun colouring in the beautiful large image from So Lovely.

It’s been a while since I have done some no-line colouring with pencils but this image just cried out for it. I coloured the image using polychromos pencils- it did take some time but I just love how it turned out. I added a sentiment from the same set over the colouring using Stazon ink.

Once I was finished with the colouring I added some gold dots around where the dots are on the stamp (I think I may have got a little carried away) using a small paint-brush and gold spritz. I cut the panel out to size but cut around the leaves that went over the edges for added interest.

Before adding to my card layer I added a piece of gold foil just under where the layer would sit to give more of a defined edge. Also I added in a couple more gold dots onto the card blank, I found this helped balance the image.

I would really love to know what you think of my card! Please leave me a comment, maybe even subscribe to myYouTube channel or follow my blog. If your interested, I’m also on Facebook and I share sneak peeks of my projects (and my life) on Instagram.

Hope you have a beautiful day and I hope to see you again soon!

Hugs Lydia xxx
