Altenew September Release Hop

Hello everyone ! I hope you are having a great day ….. and maybe it will just get a bit better when I share with you that I’m taking part in the Altenew September Release Blog Hop.

You should have arrived here from the lovely Therese.

This month Altenew are releasing

  • 15 Dies
  • 12 Oval Inks
  • 3 Mini Cube Sets
  • 3 Oval Ink Sets
  • 36 Reinkers

My first card showcases the new Celebrations Die Set and new turquoise ink colours!

I am just in love with these new ink colours!!!! In my favourite colours no less!

I inked the background with Emerald, Lagoon, Volcano Lake and Mountain Mist. I just love how these inks blend so well together.

I stamped the sweet stand onto some white card, coloured with pencils and cut around the top with the coordinating dies just partially keeping it attached to the bottom strip. The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

My second card shows the new awesome Bold Alphabet die set…

I created a gate-fold card using the new Moon Rock cardstock and stamped a partial wreath using Remember This and some of the new ink colours- Rose Quartz, Puffy Heart and Mocha.

I inked up a peice of card using VersaMark and heat embossed it with sparkling gold embossing powder (I used the same to stamp the ‘&’ onto the vellum wrap- vellum is also new to the Altenew store- from From The Desk Of). I then cut the ‘s’ and ‘h’ using the new ‘Bold Alpha Dies’.
