Layered Resist Background

Hi there everyone and happy Monday!

Today I’m sharing with you a cool ink and embossing resist background- I managed to make two cards with the one piece I made too, cool huh?!?

Winnie & Walter Re-Run Renee's Leaves_3

To start I stamped and embossed in clear one of the leaf images from Winnie & Walter ‘Renee’s Leaves’. I then inked over this with Cracked Pistashio Distress Ink. When dry I stamped and embossed the leaf image again in clear embossing powder over the piece, and inked over this again with Peacock Feather Distress Ink.

By this time you will have white and mint leaf images showing through the peacock ink.

Do this same technique of stamping, embossing, and inking two more times using Mermaid Lagoon and Chipped Sapphire.

I cut this piece on a funny angle so I could use it on two cards. For the sentiment I used the ‘thank you’ from Winnie & Walter ‘Winter Woodland’.

Thank you so much for stopping by today I really do hope you enjoyed your visit!

Please leave me a comment as I would really love to know what you think of my card!, to leave a comment just click on the post title and the comment box will appear.
