Die-Cutting, Foiling

How To Mix Digital, Dies And Stamps On A Card

Hi there everyone and happy Tuesday! I hope you are all having a great morning or for some an great afternoon.

Today I’m sharing a card using lots of different goodies from Honey Bee Stamps- digital images, stamps and even new dies!

To start I played a little on my computer, I opened the ‘Country Wreath Digital’ file on my laptop using paint. I drew an oval on the page and then moved the images into place around it- it took a little time to do this but as I was watching TV I didn’t mind. I copied a few of the images to use more than once and for the images I didn’t use I just deleted them. When I was happy with the arrangement I saved using a different file name as not to get rid of the digital stamp file and printed on my laser printer.

I printed on my laser printer so I could foil the images. I find it easier to colour the images using Copic markers before I do the foiling, so I coloured my images and then foiled then using a gold foil. Once foiled I fussy cut around the wreath so I could pop it up on my card.

For the sentiment I used a mix of stamps and a die- the new ‘Kindness Honey Cut’ is such an amazing die and also when you buy it 25% goes to support the Kindness Campaign so win-win right?!?! I cut the ‘kind’ and ‘ness’ three times out of white card and once out of black, I then stacked these up with the black layer on the top to create my stacked sentiment. I added this into place before stamping the rest of the sentiment around it using stamps from ‘Smile’.
