PTI Stamp-A-Faire 2016

Hi there everyone and happy Monday!

Saturday was Stamp-a-faire over on the Papertrey Ink blog. Only just last week I received two Papertrey Ink sets so it was great timing to get them inky.

There were numerous challenges posted throughout the day and I did manage to get four done over the course of the weekend so I will share them with you now.

Master Colour Recipes– I went with ‘Woman Arranging Her Hat’…

I used one of the floral sprigs from Bitty Bouquets and stamped this repeatedly all over my card base. To create depth and shade to the images I stamped it once with the lighter colour then stamped over the same image again with the darker ink on the edges of my stamp.

I used a dot stamp to fit in the gaps using a yellow to brighten it a little.

For the sentiment I used Bitty Bouquets and Lovely Laurels.

Starry Night Sky

I created my starry night sky on some watercolour card using Gansai Tambi paints. Once it was dry I added a few more splatters using white paint.

For the sentiment I used Bitty Bouquets and Lovely Laurels.

I used the wreath die from Lovely Laurels to die cut where my focus would be. I then took the coordinating wreath stamp and stamped into place. I then added this layer to my card blank and bent up the wreath a little.

I added a gold foil ‘thanks’ popping out from behind the laurel and decorated it up with some sequins from the kit and a stamped bow.

Watercolour Like A Master

I used images from Lovely Laurels and Bitty Bouquets. To achieve the watercolour look I stamped my images onto watercolour card using Distress Markers I then took I clean wet brush and painted over the images to soften the ink. While the images were still wet I dropped in a little colour to add more depth and shade.

Here are all the projects together…
