Bright Watercolour Background

Hi there everyone and a very happy Tuesday to you.

I’m sharing a card using some Honey Bee Stamps today and I’m so happy you stopped by!

I started by white heat embossing the ‘Lotus Blossom‘ stamp all over a piece of watercolour card. You may want to cut quite a few of these for masks before you start as this speeds up the process.

Once I had my piece completed covered in white embossed lotus flowers I then added water all over the piece of watercolour card- I add water to the back of mine also as I find this helps stop the card curling when drying. So once the piece was wet I then dropped in watercolour, trying to keep more colour at the top and then letting it blend and bleed on its own down the paper. I used a mix of pink, orange and yellow and I do so love the mix of colours this gives.

For the sentiment I used ‘Beautiful Life‘ I stamped this onto a piece of velum using black Stazon and finished the card with a couple of clear sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by today I really do hope you enjoyed your visit and feel inspired.

Please leave me a comment, maybe even subscribe to my YouTube channel or follow my blog. If your interested, I’m also on Facebook and I share sneak peeks of my projects (and my life) on Instagram.

Hope you have a beautiful day and I hope to see you again soon!

Hugs Lydia xxx
