Now onto my cards showcasing some of the new sets….
My first card features the new mini set ‘2016’…..
When you first see the set you may think that is a one-trick pony just to add 2016 to your planners, scrapbook pages ect, but it’s not! There are two great little sentiments that can be used on their own as well as with the large 2016. But just look at those gorgeous numbers! You could use them for all different birthdays, as you can see I have turned the 6 upside down to create a 9.
So just think of the birthday’s you could do with just this little set- 1,2,6,9,10,11,12,16,19,20,21 – ok you get my drift. I added the ‘happy birthday’ from the Beautiful Lady set to finish off this beautifully simple birthday card.
Next up is the super sweet mini ‘Mini Atlas’….
I just love this set for sending cards to friends and family that are in a different country.
I have kept this card really quite simple. I stamped the atlas and the sentiment from the set onto some watercolour card and heat embossed it all in white. I then added some rainbow watercolour over it-I just love this effect !
Last but not least I have used the ‘Capture Moments’ mini set….
To create this I took a piece of watercolour card and did a quick wash going from green to aqua to dark blue. I wanted these to be quite bright and bold so I added quite a bit of colour. I then took these three colours again and added splatters to the rest of the card to give it an arty look.
Once the watercolour was dry I stamped and white heat embossed the quirky, cute camera and sentiment.
Here’s the hop list if you need it
I would really love to know what you think of my card! Please leave me a comment, maybe even subscribe to my YouTube channel or follow my blog. If your interested, I’m also on Facebook and I share sneak peeks of my projects (and my life) on Instagram.
Hope you have a beautiful day and I hope to see you again soon!
