Ombre Cherish – Honey Bee Stamps Post

Hi there stampers! I hope you are well and that your week started well too. I’m over on the today on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog, and I’m sharing with you a watercoloured card using ‘Cherish‘ stamp set.

I stamped and heat embossed the flowers and leaves on my background piece of watercolour cardstock, using VersaMark ink and Wow Bright White Embossing Powder before adding the watercolour. Having heat embossed the images they would then resist the watercolour and show through the ink.

As I didn’t want to take too much attention from the gorgeously soft background I then just added a sentiment. To do this I created my sentiment from the same stamp set and heat embossed this in white onto a piece of vellum before adding to my card.

I would really love to know what you think of my card! Please leave me a comment, maybe even subscribe to my YouTube channel or follow my blog. If your interested, I’m also on Facebook and I share sneak peeks of my projects (and my life) on Instagram.

Hope you have a beautiful day and I hope to see you again soon!

Hugs Lydia xxx
