Hi there and happy Saturday! I’m popping in today with a card I made combianing a couple of challenges.
The first of the challenges was the Hero Arts Makeover Challenge and the card I have made over is HERE. I kept to the same layout and sentiment on a vellum strip, but changed up the floral stamps and colours.
I firstly stamped the floral images from Altenew ‘Golden Garden’ onto my card layer using black ink and coloured with Copics, I took my colours from the first colour combo over at Make The Day Special (minus the yellow). After I had coloured them with Copics I added a bit of shading and depth with some coloured pencils.
I cut a scalloped layer of burlap using Mama Elephant ‘Femme Frames’ and added this behind my stamped panel before adding a strip of vellum with my sentiment from Hero Arts, this sentiment is a wooden stamp and I love love love it!
To finish I added some burlap twine and some Sparking Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
I would really love to know what you think of my card! Please leave me a comment, maybe even subscribe to my YouTube channel or follow my blog If your interested I’m also onFacebook and I share sneak peeks of my projects (and my life) on Instagram.
I hope you have a beautiful day and I will see you again soon.
Hugs Lydia xxx
