Newton’s Nook Designs August Release- Tranquil Tides

AugustRelease

Hi there and welcome to Day 2 of the Newton’s Nook Designs August Release.!  You should have arrived here from the beginning at Newton’s Nook Designs blog or there is a hop list at the bottom of the post if you are a little lost :)

Today we are showcasing the new set Tranquil Tides

DSC05826

To start I first used the anchor from Newton’s Nook Designs ‘Message In A Bottle’ and repeatedly stamped this in light grey ink to create a background. I then created some layers with burlap, cheese-cloth and a shiney porthole. The sentiment I stamped from the new set onto some vellum in blue and heat embossed in clear. For the crab, I cut this 4 times using the matching die and stamped the crab onto the last one in orange and added some glossy accents to it.
