Winnie & Walter April/May Release -Day One

aprilmay release (1)

Première of The Big, the Bold and Comfort + The Big, the Bold and Friends + The Big, the Bold and Comfort Cutaways + The Big, the Bold and Friends Cutaways

Hello there and welcome to Day 1 of the Winnie & Walter April/May Release Blog Hop! I am so super excited that Julie and Shay asked me to be part of the release and showcase their new fantabulous products! If you would like to start at the beginning of this awesome hop please click HERE to go to the Winnie & Walter blog.

The sets we are showcasing today are absolute essentials that you are definitely going to want to add to your crafty stash… I mean who doesn’t need beautiful, will-work-for-anything sentiments, right?!?!?

My first card features The Big, the Bold and Comfort….

The sentiments in this set are just beautiful, with all the lovely and meaningful words you can put together a sentiment from the straight from the heart.

To create this card I cut a panel using Essentials: Katharine Cutaways and stamped some flowers (a sneaky peek from an up coming set) in light ink, I then coloured these with Copics to create a no-line effect. Once my flowers were in place I put together this sentiment using the set on to my block, I stamped this in VersaMark, added some Wow Bonding Powder and heat set. I then added a piece of gold foil over the sentiment and ran this through my Minc so the sentiment would be foiled.

Next set up is The Big, the Bold and Friends…..

I just love this sentiment set and it is definitely one I will be reaching to time and time again, especially for those ‘just because’ cards.

To create this card I firstly draw around a circle in pencil to act as a guide to stamp the floral wreath (yes another sneaky peeky !), I then made up the sentiment using the set and heat embossed this into place using black embossing powder.

I would really love to know what you think of my cards! Please leave me a comment, maybe even subscribe to my YouTube channel or follow my blog :) If your interested I’m also onFacebook and I share sneak peeks of my projects (and my life) on Instagram.

Hugs Lydia xxx
