Inky Techniques

Bright 50th Cheers

Hello there! Sorry my post is a bit late but apparently it is Tuesday and not Monday (like I thought), that’s the problem with a bank holiday as I always forget what day of the week it is lol!

Well today starts a new challenge over at Loves Rubberstamps and this weeks theme is everyone’s favourite …. Anything Goes!

Firstly I created the watercolour effect background onto some watercolour cardstock using  Distress Ink in Festive Berries, Spiced Marmalade, Wild Honey, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers and Picked Raspberry. The foiled sentiment is from a new stamp company now at the Loves Rubberstamps Store, Avery Elle ‘Cheers’.

For a bit of fun I added ’50’ using Lawn Fawn- Louie’s 123s with some gold craft metal onto some acetate and attached to the card so that it would bubble out for a bit of dimension.

I would really love to know what you think of my card! Please leave me a comment, maybe even subscribe to my YouTube channel or follow my blog :) If your interested I’m also on Facebook and I share sneak peeks of my projects (and my life) on Instagram.

I hope you have a beautiful day and I will see you again soon.

Hugs Lydia xxx
