Hello, happy Thursday and welcome to Day 3 of Newton’s Nook Designs March Release. You can start at the beginning at Newton’s Nook Designs blog or there is a hop list at the bottom of the post
Today we are showcasing the set Newton’s Birthday Flutter….
I LOVE this set! I just love how funny the sentiments are …. yes I did giggle at the ‘so I ate him’. But I thought that my awesome teamies would be showcasing the image of Newton so I wanted to show how you could make a card just using the smaller images from the set.
Sweet huh? First I stamped the little bird and the balloons (for the balloons I stamped the first one, masked it stamped one slightly behind then masked this one also before stamping a third slightly behind the rest). Once these were stamped I coloured them with Copics, added some clear Wink Of Stella and then covered with Glossy Accents.
Once the Glossy Accents were dry I added some small cloud shapes cut from sticky notes and then inked around these using Salty Ocean Distress Ink. To finish I added some balloon strings with a black fine line pen and some clear sequins.
Would you like to win “Newton’s Birthday Flutter”?
This set will be given away to ONE lucky winner!
Here’s how to win:
Comment on the NND blog and Design Team and Guest blogs (see list below)! The winner will be chosen at random from the collective blog release posts. Make sure to check out each of their blogs and comment for your chance to win. You will not know which blog has been chosen so the more you comment on the better your chances are of winning!
