Layered And Masked Florals In A Tea Cup

DSC04130

Happy Monday! Can you believe March already and it’s still snowing outside :/ It’s looking like spring is a little off yet… that may explain my obsession with floral stamps at the moment as I’m not getting any outside I get my fix of them in the craftroom 😉

So I have created a card today to share in the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop….

I have had this cup stamp for an age and as I have no package for it don’t know who makes it, sorry 🙁 The flowers are from Wplus9 ‘Pretty Peonies’ and the sentiment is from a Sweet & Sassy set.

To create the focal image I stamped the cup on to a piece of card and then coloured with Copics, when coloured I fussy cut it out and placed it onto my card layer where I wanted it to be and drew a pencil line across the top of the cup as a guide to stamp the flowers inside the cup. I then removed the cup and stamped some flowers and leaves onto my card layer, and also another flower and couple of leaves onto another piece of card- I then fussy cut these out.

Once the flowers and leaves where stamped on the card layer I then attached the cup back into place using foam tape. I then layered the fussy cut flower and leaves on top of the cup so it looks like it is coming out of the cup.

To finish I added the sentiment, some drops of Gold Color Shine and some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins.

I would really love to know what you think of my card! Please leave me a comment, maybe even subscribe to my YouTube channel or follow my blog :) If your interested I’m also on Facebook and I share sneak peeks of my projects (and my life) on Instagram.

I hope you have a beautiful day and I will see you again soon.

Hugs Lydia xxx
