Hi there and welcome to Day 1 or the eclectic Paperie and Add A Little Dazzle Blog Hop. I’m so excited to be sharing with you my project using products from both of these fantastic stores.
First we’d like to share a little bit about the two companies…
eclectic Paperie is a different breed of craft store, conceived as more than just a place where you can purchase supplies, we believe in the strength of collaboration, in coming together and sharing with like-minded crafters. Our goal is to offer a mixed media marketplace where a generation of artists can congregate, explore, imagine, and inspire one another.
We specialize in an exclusive line of craft metal sheets that helps you take your crafting to the next level. Whether you are a seasoned or new crafter, our craft metal sheets will help you create unique projects that will make you stand out among the crowd. Are you ready to take your crafting to the next level? Add a Little Dazzle Craft Metal Sheets will help you turn the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Make sure to stop by and visit each of the Design Team Blogs for a chance to win 1 of 2 prize packages from eclectic Paperie and Add a Little Dazzle valued at $25. You have until Friday, June 27th to enter. The winners will be announced on both blogs on Saturday, June 28th. You must leave a comment on all blogs.
Instead of making a card I decided to push the boat out a bit and create a mini album using some photos from out recent family holiday to Turkey.
I have used a mix of patterned papers from Echo Park ‘Summer Bliss’ into a clear mini album that I have had in a cupboard for a couple of years… but with this paper I didn’t want to choose which side to use and with a clear album I didn’t have to 🙂 To stick the beautiful papers to the shiny surface of the album I have used Glossy Accents.
I really wanted the happy faces of my little babies to really stand out from the pages you I dicided now to embellish my pages to much (also it would keep my mini album flatter) so the only embellishments I used were some Prima paperclips and also die-cut Add A Little Dazzle Craft Metal.
For my metal accents on my pages I have used Add A Little Dazzle Craft Metal in Ocean Blue, Baby Blue and Princess Pink. I have die-cut these sheets using the middle sized Lawn Fawn ‘Stitched Scallop Borders’ using both the scallop and the ‘waste’ which creates a super fun wave.
Around the edges of the papers and also for the dots on the title page I have used some of the gorgeous Faber Castell Gelatos from two sets, Metallic and Tropical.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoy the rest of the gorgeous inspiration from the two teams and don’t forget to stop on by tomorrow for day 2 of the hop to Eclectic Paperie and Add a Little Dazzle.
Hugs Lydia xxx
