Inky Techniques, Watercolour

Thanks A Bunch Card

Firstly a huge thank you to all of you lovely people that watched my first ever video yesterday and left me some love. I hope to be making more vidoes in the very near future (tomorrow is very near right ?!? 😉  ).

So today I’m sharing with you a card that I have been inspired mostly by two challenges- Cure For The Monday Blues (I took the colours from the cute string banner) and Winnie & Walter’s Playdate #2 (I took the gorgeous pink flower as my inspiration).

*Stamp the large flowers from Wplus9 ‘Spring Blooms’ using Distress Ink ‘Picked Raspberry firstly onto a piece of scrap paper then using the second generation stamping technique stamp onto the base layer.
*Using a wet paint brush move this colour around.
*Stamp the buds using second generation stamping and Distress Ink ‘Peacock Feathers’, again wet this to move the colour around.
*Second generation stamp the leaves and foliage using Distress Ink ‘Iced Spruce’.
*To fill in the gaps mix some of the Iced Sprunce ink with water and paint in the gaps.
*Add the sentiment from Winnie & Walter’s ‘The Big, The Bold and You’ using a dark black ink.
*To finish add a few drops of white enamel accents.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs Lydia xxx
