Have A Magical Day

Yay it’s Friday!!! Hope you have a great Bank Holiday Weekend planned , although it’s looking like the weather isn’t planning on being very sunny :-/. So it’s my day to post over at Make The Day Special and I’m sharing with you a pretty bright card that will hopefully make you smile.

To make this……
* Cut a number (I have cut 10) of the larger borders from Lawn Fawns ‘Stitched Scalloped Border Die’ and add a little colour to the scalloped edge using Distress Inks ( I used Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean).
* Glue these borders together and attach to your card layer.
*Stamp the castle and unicorn from Lawn Fawn ‘Critters Ever After’ on to watercolour card using Archival ink. Colour using the same colour Distress Inks as before and a little water. Then fussy cut out.
* Cut a number of clouds out of vellum using Lawn Fawn ‘Spring Showers Die’ out of vellum and add these to the top of the scalloped borders. Then add the castle and unicorn to the scene.
* Add the sentiment using Milo’s ABCs.

I totally love the freshness of these bright colours and lots of white. And what could be better than using vellum for clouds?!?!?

Thanks for stocking by!
