Welcome Little One

Hi there, hope you are all having a great Saturday. We went out today to pick the last bits up for our holiday on Thursday… I cannot tell you how happy I am to know that we will be in sun for two whole weeks, ah heaven. Will has gone out tonight on a stag do so me and the kids are going to order pizza in a bit, settle down and watch Frozen- this to me is a prefect Saturday night, my days of partying are gone but I wouldn’t change that for the world.

Another bit of exciting news is my friend had her baby today! I believed she was having a boy … nope I was wrong …. so it looks like I’m making a new card in the morning before we go to visit.

As I was convinced that the little one was going to be a boy I was inspired by the challenge over at the Avery Elle Challenge Blog

Challenge 5
Maybe I could just redo change the blue ribbon to pink lol…

Firstly I stamped the frame fro avery Elle’s ‘Framed Fonts’ and using Distress Markers I created a little scene that came beyond the frame itself.

I stamped the duck from ‘Storybook’, added a little colour to him and fussy cut him out before adding him to the frame. I then stamped a few of the bubbles and used glossy accents on them to make them shiny.

The beautiful sentiment is from ‘Storybook’ as well. For the finishing touch I added some soft blue twine for a little bow around his neck.

Thank you so much for popping bye!

hugs Lydia xxx
