A Floral Happy

Hope you have had a happy Thursday and I have a really ‘happy’ card to share with you today. I have used quite a few goodies from Wplus9 on this make….

Firtsly I used the More Fresh Cuts Dies to die cut the floral shapes out of white card three times and then used the corresponding stamps from More Fresh Cuts to stamp the beautiful layered floral images.

Before I stuck these down I wanted to create a subtle background, I used the Falling Hearts stencil from Simon Says Stamp and transparent embossing paste. Before the embossing paste was dry I added Wow Sparkle embossing powder and heat set it quickly.

I used one of the ‘happy’s from the Happy Trio Wplus9 die, die cut it 5 times from white cardstock and once from AALD Gold Glimmer Craft Metal Sheet (link in sidebar for the Add A Little Dazzle Boutique) and stacked these up with the gold metal on the top. I placed the ‘happy’ down and made marks at the top of the ‘y’ and bottom of the ‘h’ so I knew where to position the floral bouquets.

I then wanted to add more to the sentiment but felt I couldn’t stamp over the flowers as it was too bumpy. So to get the look I was after I stamped onto a piece of acetate, I attached this to the card by placing it behind the ‘h’ while adhering the ‘hello’ with glossy accents.

Thanks for popping in!

Hugs Lydia xxx
