A Bright Layered Hello

Hello and a very happy and bright Saturday to you. Today I’m sharing with you a fun hello card using one of favourite word dies of the moment. Before this kind of script word die came out I wasn’t an avid user of dies but now I can’t get enough of the wordy ones.

I have layered up three of the ‘Scripty Hello’ die from Lawn Fawn, (one in a grey polka dot, another in white cardstock and a third from Black Diamond AALD metal sheet – link to the AALD Boutique is in my sidebar) and offset each layer slightly to the right so you can clearly see the layer underneath.

Before attaching the layered word to my card layer I stamped the flower bouquet from Avery Elles ‘Love Notes’ in colours that matched the strip of paper from Lawn Fawns ‘Hello Sunshine’ collection down the edge of my card.

To do this stamping I placed my word down and lightly marked with a pencil the top of the ‘o’ and the bottom of the ‘h’ that way I could more easily figure out where the flowers should go. After gluing down the ‘hello’ I stamped the ‘friend’ from Needle Little Love from Avery Elle.

Thank yo so much for popping by, but before you go just a friendly reminder that you still have until Tuesday to take part in this weeks Dazzling Diva Challenge, this is the inspirational photo….

As it stands the use of AALD metal sheets is encouraged but not mandatory… so even if you don’t have any of these …yet 😉 you can still play along with us and have the chance of winning a prize package.

Another piece of news my very good friend Kate is having a giveaway on her blog and would love it if you popped round and said hi!

Bye for now!

Hugs, Lydia xxx
