Shaded Blooms

Although cold it has been a clear crisp day here in North Wales. It is soooo nice watching the leaves change and fall with the sun shining in the sky.

Today I have been playing with the gorgeous big blooms from the Avery Elle set ‘Petals and Stems’. I adore those large floral images – they are so versital and make a fabulous focal point for cards and scrapbooks alike. Although I do love these flowers, I thought they could look even better… so I added some shading to these solid image stamps.

So what do you think?!?! I’m actually loving this. The colours look great and the black foliage just sets it off and makes it pop. The colour combo is from Keep It Simple and I’m really liking it.

The little ‘enamel dots’ are a new love of mine… and their not even real?!?! They are ‘Enamel Accents’ from Ranger , they were originally white but I coloured them with my Copics to create a totally colour coordinated look.

Thanks for popping in, hopefully see you again soon.

Love Lydia xxx
