Good morrnin’, good morning… hum hum hum…. don’t know the rest of the words…. hum hum hum…. Good mornin’, good mornin’ to you!! Well I hope everyone is fresh faced and bushy tailed today. I got a little better sleep today as Colin is still crying and barking at night, he’s getting better but no much and in the process he’s waking Tilly up (Archie will sleep through ANYTHING) so I also have been having an extra little body sleeping in my bed…. not that I mind I love having an excuse hehe.
So it’s Tuesday and for all of you that know me out there in blogland you know it means a new challenge at the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge Blog !!! This weeks theme is ‘Let it Snow’ so me and the lovely ladies really want to take a gander at you beautiful works of art that have snow on them.
This week as well as a voucher to use at the Loves Rubberstamps Store you also have the chance of winning 5 free downloads from Kenny K !!!! How great is that he has some super fun images in store and I have used one for my card this week ……
Hehehe I just love this Santa he just looks soooo jolly and I can totally imagine him nibbling on a few mince pies… mmmmmm. I have used my Spectrum Noirs foe colouring in the main man – colouring on the CC Ultra Smooth card with this markers is a dream, even as a kid I hated colouring in (I would always get my BFF to do it) but now I love it and can’t get enough!!! Thank you Laura for getting me involved in this piece of crafting it’s something I would have never done if I hadn’t of joined your super fab crew !! 🙂
After colouring him in I decided that I wanted him on the roof in the snow, so first I stuck down a layer of snowy patterned paper as a base. Then I found this brick paper (no idea where on earth it came from and will prob never be used again…unless I want to put Santa on another roof) but a great find none the less- I cut a piece for the wall and a piece for the chimney. I also added some white glitter to the top of the chimney.
Then for the look of tiles from the roof I used a scallop edge punch and added glitter to the edges for snow- hope you get the effect that he’s supposed to be on a roof… else it’s all for nothing ..lol !!
The super sweet sentiment is from Lawn Fawn and is from the Winter Fox set- this has arrived and will shortly be added to the store YAY!!!!!
Okay off now to at least look like I’ve done a teeny tiny bit of housework before I pick Arch up for Nursery and maybe do some baking. Have a great day all!!!!
