I have decided that I really want to start making more home decor items to make my home more homey, cozy and a bit more me. I love Autumn and I’m hoping that we don’t miss it like we have seemed to miss summer – thats why I’m loving the challenge over at Decorate To Celebrate.

I used the basic shapes on my Cricut Imagine to get the pumpkin shape, I cut it three times using the papers from the Lori’s Garden cartridge. I then cut these into 3 to get the segments of the pumpkin which I shaped and inked the edges. I then stuck them on small thin paper tubes so they would keep their shape.

I did the swirls on to acetate with liquid pearls so I could have them coming off the edges of the pumpkin.

I then added a bow of string and some chipboard and metal embellishments- oh and some eyelets on the top corners of the autumn veg to add to hanging string.

I’m loving this soooo much and I think I may not want to put it away when winter comes round.
