    Video: Marker Colouring Die Cuts

Hello everyone and a very happy Friday to you! Today I wanted to share with you my technique for marker coloring die cuts. I’m using one of my favorite sets from this month’s Altenew release Rose Flurries 3D Die Set. I just love how many flowers and leaves are included in this set and they are just so pretty!

I started by cutting all of the dies from Rose Flurries 3D Die Set from white cardstock. I have a little trick when doing this so all of my pieces stay in place on the cardstock when cut, I add a scrap piece of cardstock under the piece I wish to cut when die cutting. You can see exactly how I do this in the video a little further down this post .

Once the pieces where cut I then coloured them using Artist Marker Set A, using the blues for the flowers and the greens for the leaves. When colored I then adhered these together using spray adhesive.

To add a little subtle detail to my background I used Watercolor Stripes Cover Die- I just love the detail this adds but still takes nothing away from the beautiful floral layered die cuts. To finish I added a sentiment from Love You So Mush Stamp Set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I’ll see you again soon!

    Hugs, Lydia
